STEPS Project Role
Dr. Alexa Lamm manages cross-institutional mentoring strategies for all graduate students on the project, assists with curriculum development and will serve as an instructor for the multi-institutional course, provides support for website management and outward communication, and assists with training on the use of the STEPS RLOs.
Research Bio
Dr. Alexa Lamm conducts research on how educational initiatives and targeted science communication efforts impact how people make decisions about critical global issues such as water quality and quantity, plastic use, pest management, climate change, food security, and food safety. She specifically studies how to build consensus to inform policy that addresses these issues and how targeted science communication efforts can assist in the creation of solutions to the world’s greatest problems.
